Governments are trying to restrict the flow of money by banning large bills of currency. This does not bode well for Bitcoin – billed as digital cash. Will governments attempt to obliterate the currency? In general is it possible for Governments to ban CryptoCurrencies? In what ways can they restrict them? One of the biggest risk factors facing CryptoCurrencies could be regulatory crackdowns, what is your take here? There’s a war on cash – the physical cash and I don’t think the intentions are completely pure on the part of governments. I think once you have everything electronic, its a tax extraction mechanism. Governments have jurisdictions on ‘nation state’ level so they could put restrictions on exchanges that are not regulated in their nation.
