FBI Says Hackers Managed to Extort Million in Cryptocurrencies – In the annual report of 2016 just released, the following was noted:-
– Over 17,146 individual cases of extortion were recorded
– online crimes include DDoS attacks
– Reported online crimes rose 3.7% in 2016 with most affected countries being the US, Canada, India, UK, Australia, and France
– People above 60 had suffered the most and lost over 9 million
The FBI suspected that only 15% of victims actually report their situation.

GOLDMAN SACHS: Bitcoin could see a big drop then surge to almost ,000 – Goldman Sachs has started reporting and communicating on Bitcoin to their client bases – In a recent email to clients, Sheba Jafari, the head of technical strategy at Goldman Sachs, suggested that “while bitcoin’s correction hadn’t run its course, the cryptocurrency was ultimately heading higher”
