When is the right time to buy a stock?
I am Robert Edinger.
And this is your stock market minute.
They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Well I believe that saying applies to stocks as well.
I buy a stock because I’m expecting it to go up in value.
But on the other side of the deal, there’s someone who’s selling the stock, because they think it’s gonna go down.
The funny thing is, some of my best investments were stocks that nobody else wanted.
Many people thought that these stocks were trash and would never rebound.
But I only invest in mature companies that have been producing a good product for many years.
But there are times a company has dropped the ball or has fallen on hard times.
Maybe it was the economy, or poor management. Or it could have been just outright complacency.
But if their stock price has fallen extremely low, it could be a good time to buy.
Sometimes when that happens It seems like nobody wants it.
But if my analysis checks out, I’m going to buy that stock, regardless of what others are saying.
Some would call me a bottom feeder, well… they’re right.
But I have a theory about that.
And please let me know what you think.
My theory is… big companies are owned and managed by very rich people.
And rich people like being rich.
Anyone who has been rich for any amount of time, will do everything in their power to stay that way.
So if their company is struggling, they are going to do whatever it takes to get that company back on track.
So when other traders are emptying their trash, that’s when I go rooting through the garbage.
You never know, you just might find a shiny new Apple.
I know I did.
This is Robert Edinger reminding you that…
Time is money, so spend a minute today, to make a million tomorrow.
Thanks for watching.
